Approved & certified resin bound products...
The Resin Mill Ltd are proud to announce that we are now certified by The British Board of Agreement (BBA). The BBA is a major organisation who provides expert, independent product inspection for approval and certification for manufacturers. BBA products and systems are the go-to products and systems for architects and specifiers who require certainty that the system is fit for its intended use.
They are widely recognised by building control, local authorities, specifiers, architects, industry insurers and key trade associations, offering quality assurance and peace of mind. In order to be approved by the BBA, products and systems have to prove their product performance by passing a string of rigorous tests. Only then are BBA certificates awarded. These include laboratory tests, on site evaluations, quality management tests and inspections of production.
Because our resin bound systems are certified by the BBA, you can be assured in the premium quality of our resin bound products, operations and service. Once a BBA certificate has been awarded the BBA carry out ongoing audits in order to confirm the certificates validity. This reassures installers that our resin bound products and systems are being manufactured and maintained to the highest standards. The BBA certificate offers peace of mind, benchmarking the levels of quality and excellence for a company.View Our ResinBound UVR Pro Certificate View Our ResinBound Pro Certificate
Our ResinBound UVR Pro and ResinBound Pro have the certificate and they are valid for the full range of The Resin Mill’s colours. This gives the flexibility to install whatever colour you wish with the assurance that all of our resin bound colours are safe and fit for purpose. All of our resin bound mixes have BBA certification without the need for sand.
Whilst a resin bound company may have a resin bound system that has BBA approval, it is only BBA APPROVED if it is installed to a certain criteria. You also have to complete training by The Resin Mill to be a Resin Mill BBA approved installer and to lay a BBA approved resin bound system. If you do not adhere to the criteria and follow the standards, the install is not a BBA approved installation.
You will first need to complete training at The School of Resin. Following that, there will be one day on site training, ensuring the BBA methods are adhered to. For more information please get in contact with us.
For a resin bound system to be BBA, installers must meticulously follow the Resin Mill’s BBA guidelines and methodology. Installers will need to fill out a sheet on any job that they complete which is to be BBA approved. This is known as the ‘daily site worksheet’. This is then sent to us for assessing. If the resin has been installed to the correct standards, that particular install can be offered BBA status.
